
About Dr. Earl Killbride, MD
Earl J. Kilbride, MD was born in New Orleans, LA. He finished his undergraduate education with BS in Microbiology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He then attended Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans where he was elected to the honorary Alpha Omega Alpha as a junior, which is awarded to the top 5% of the LSU medical school class. Following his graduation, he completed a General Surgery internship and an Orthopedic Surgery residency at the University of Texas-Southwestern in Dallas. He completed specialized fellowship training in the field of arthroscopy and sports medicine at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute where he was involved in the care of high school, college, and professional athletes.
He joined Austin Bone and Joint Clinic in 2002. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a member of the Travis County Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association, and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. His orthopedic interests include arthroscopy and sports medicine as well as joint reconstruction. Hs is a speaker in Sports Medicine for the ABOS review course. He is the team physician for the Austin Wranglers. He is married and has three boys. Outside the office, Dr. Kilbride enjoys most athletic activities as well as surfing.
