Dr. Raphaeli was born and raised in Houston before receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch and then completed his General Surgery training at Virginia Mason Medical Center. Dr. Raphaeli then completed an additional fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery at the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. He is double board-certified in general surgery as well as colon and rectal surgery.
He specializes in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery in treating cancer and benign diseases, endoscopy, anorectal disorders (hemorrhoids, fissures, pelvic floor disorders), and many more.
