Nolan Perez, MD.

Gastroenterology

Dr. Perez earned a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin and attended medical school at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He is board certified in Gastroenterology and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and American College of Gastroenterology. He is fluent in both English and Spanish and sees patients in his Harlingen office. Dr. Perez served in the U.S. Navy as a Medical Corps Officer after attending Medical School where he went on to receive the Navy Commendation and Navy Achievement Medals. He then completed residency training in Internal Medicine at the Regional Academic Health Center in Harlingen and fellowship training in Gastroenterology/Hepatology at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center. Dr. Perez currently serves as a member of the University of Texas System Board of Regents, is a member of the Harlingen CISD Board of Trustees, and a former Chair of the Texas Woman’s University Board of Regents.
