Texas Medical Management (TMM) was founded in 2016 to address a healthcare system burdened by inefficiency, misaligned incentives, and a lack of business discipline.

Our founders recognized that meaningful change would not come from within the traditional system but from building new business models outside of it.

From Industry Insider to Healthcare Revolutionary

After a decade in the energy and marine transportation sector, I transitioned into healthcare—only to find a system plagued by inefficiency, misaligned incentives, and a lack of business discipline.

I spent the next ten years building surgical service lines inside an integrated system, but the deeper I got, the clearer it became: meaningful change wouldn’t come from within. It had to come from outside.

In 2016, I co-founded Texas Medical Management (TMM) with my brother, Dr. Patrick Kelley. Our model was inspired by pioneers like Dr. Keith Smith—and built on bundled, upfront pricing for outpatient surgical care.
