Cardiology
Dr. Huseng Vefali is a board certified cardiologist. He has a wide range of expertise in treating heart disease including structural heart disease and peripheral interventions.
Dr. Vefali completed his undergraduate education at George Mason University in Virginia, earned a Masters Degree in Health Services Administration and went on to earn his medical degree from St. George’s University. Dr. Vefali completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Seton Hall University St. Michael’s Medical Center in New Jersey. He then moved to Pennsylvania for his fellowship training in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology.
Dr. Vefali is an Associate Professor of Medicine at St. George’s University School of Medicine. He was previously a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College teaching at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital prior to his move to the Lone Star State.
